1. Codex in ChatGPT

Codex is now fully integrated into ChatGPT, with regular updates. It can write features, fix bugs, answer questions about your codebase, and propose pull requests, all in secure cloud environments linked to your GitHub repo. (Now you do not need coding degree, you need to learn how to write prompts) 

2. AlphaEvolve Advancements

AlphaEvolve is pushing boundaries by evolving codebases and discovering new algorithms. It has already delivered up to 23% performance boosts in Google’s data centers and chip designs (talk about an update).

3. Windsurf Launches SWE-1

Windsurf unveiled SWE-1, its first family of AI models (this is just a start) focused on software engineering tailored for developers and dev teams.

4. Notion Unveils ā€œAI for Workā€

The new Notion X AI includes AI meeting notes (Notion knows how to keep up with AI), enterprise search, and research mode, effectively giving Notion a powerful AI overhaul for workspaces.

5. Anthropic Introduces Research Feature on Mobile

Claude’s new research feature allows users to search both internal context and the web simultaneously. It supports multi-step, linked queries to deliver more comprehensive and accurate answers (AI will soon have more data than all humans combined).

6. OpenAI Releases GPT-4.1

GPT-4.1 brings sharper coding skills and better instruction-following than GPT-4o.

7. Tencent Launches HunyuanCustom

Video-driven customisation is here with HunyuanCustom accepting inputs from text, images, audio, and video. It can generate consistent characters across different scenes, even when multiple subjects appear in a single video.

8. NVIDIA + UAE AI training cluster

The U.S. has approved a deal for the UAE to purchase 500,000 NVIDIA chips per year. These will power a 5-gigawatt AI campus in Abu Dhabi, built by G42 with backing from U.S. firms like OpenAI.
